Re: 2014 Mondeo Mk4 estate - detach inner light assembly

It is indeed plausible that dismantling the bottom outer trim panel may be necessary; although it seems somewhat irrational, it could very well be accurate.
I will examine that. Thank you.

Precisely. Crimson and transparent. Revert and cease. Those particular items.
It is not evident how to detach them, even after removing one or two nuts from the interior.

Re: 2014 Mondeo Mk4 estate - detach inner light assembly

I should clarify that I am referring to the light cluster that includes the reverse light and stop light.
There exists one cluster on either side of the tailboard.

I am not referring to the license plate light.

2014 Mondeo Mk4 estate - detach inner light assembly

I wish to detach the inner light cluster located on the tailboard. I have detached the interior trim of the vehicle and removed two nuts that seem to secure the cluster. However, there exists a black edge on the cluster that extends over the tailboard, appearing to secure it. It is unclear how to de...

I conversed with the local shop, and they said that the brake fluid would gradually infiltrate the main reservoir owing to a filter or fine mesh. I can use a flathead screwdriver to leverage it. I will not attempt to do this, to be explicit. I will assess the fluid level today to see whether the afo...

Re: Brake Fluid Level Remains at Minimum Despite Replenishment Efforts

There are no problems with gear transitions. My vehicle had a clutch and dual mass flywheel replacement at 104,000 miles. The one concern with the clutch at now is the persistent noise from the release bearing, which has been evident since its replacement.

Re: Brake Fluid Level Remains at Minimum Despite Replenishment Efforts

Thank you, my friend! I will get it inspected at a garage. I will provide a report thereafter.

Re: Brake Fluid Level Remains at Minimum Despite Replenishment Efforts

Indeed, my vehicle is equipped with a manual gearbox and a 2.0 TDCi engine. Completed 128,000 miles, hence likely time for maintenance. Anticipating a garage repair with trepidation.

Re: Brake Fluid Level Remains at Minimum Despite Replenishment Efforts

Would that result in the fluid not being replenished? Merely inquisitive. Examining the link between the brake and clutch systems.
