Maybe installing a shield around the speaker would have been too expensive for BMW, but it does make you wonder why water is able to get into the door via the window unimpeded.

F31 from 2014 Okay, so I removed the door card in the mistaken belief that the damp carpet was the door seal barrier; however, I later discovered that water had been trickling around the speaker and the barrier. As far as I can tell, the only method to accomplish this is to go through each journey's details on the InControl website. You can get the necessary breakdown for each journey. The aforementioned approach was new to me. I will review it.

That is your sole option if you do not intend to turn off the vehicle. If this continues to happen whenever you turn off the engine, you may want to check the infotainment system for an Auto open feature that allows you to lock and open the door automatically. You may learn about all of your choices...

Even though the stage one tune had nothing to do with the valve failure, BMW yet refused to undertake any goodwill inspections after recovering the vehicle two years ago when the pvc valve failed.
