I have also had similar problem. The rear seat check alert activates each time I turn off the ignition, even though the rear seats are unoccupied and properly secured. During the outage of Kia Connect, I found that it is possible to remotely engage climate control to defrost and heat the vehicle using the iPhone key.

It is only another method to get you into their workshop. If it is really concealed inside the engine compartment, it poses a significant risk. Something seems off; I cannot shake the suspicion that it is located at the back, maybe indicating a second battery for a mild hybrid system.

There will be components located under the hood or in the boot, namely in the rear wheel arch on the driver's side. Inside the boot, there is a panel that may be removed to access it. Have you ever used Google? This causes me to conclude that I have just spewed nonsense
