Reducing the state of charge to 10% following an extended drive will enhance speed in chilly conditions, albeit not significantly.

If it resembles the E-GMP platform in my similarly aged EV6, then there is hardware that is not installed, cannot be retrofitted, and is expressly excluded from the early MY22 models. They did not assert that capability at the time, and the "Winter mode" is frustratingly merely a software ...

White smoke on cold beginning is typical. It is water vapour.
The emission of black smoke during acceleration is abnormal. Connect the vehicle to STAR or iCarsoft and search for any diagnostic trouble codes.

I would get one and examine the power wire from the positive battery terminal to the starting motor, and then the connection from the starter to the alternator.
Subsequently, you may examine all the fuses and the ignition cylinder.

Connect a jumper wire from the negative battery terminal to a suitable grounding location on the engine. If there is a broken earth, it will let the earth circuit to persist and should facilitate functionality.
