Re: 2016 SL63 roof complications

I can not see how the baggage cover might influence anything apart from the roof function; yet, I question if the speed sensors or reluctor rings are deteriorating. During a R class session, I had a problem where the vehicle displayed a speed of 1500 kph when stationary and was inoperable.

Re: Optimal headlight bulbs

Consider investing in a headlamp cleaning kit.
One hour per lens and some effort resulted in a significant improvement over my prior vehicle.

Re: Optimal headlight bulbs

Replace original halogen headlights with halogen bulbs. Halogen, HID, and LED lights exhibit distinct illumination patterns, necessitating varied headlamps and lenses. Avoid opting for inexpensive alternatives. You will experience disappointment. The Osrams and Philips Jay18 referenced are among the...

Re: Electronic Stability Program and Anti-lock Braking System absence of display The vehicle fails to start.

I would begin by inspecting the vehicle for electrical power at the ECU connections and any indications of damage. I would further attempt to scan the vehicle while it is in operation (disconnect to begin and then reconnect). My W211 indicates a lack of contact with the ABS unless the engine is oper...

Re: Electronic Stability Program and Anti-lock Braking System absence of display The vehicle fails to start.

Previously, when I had an ABS failure with absent speed values, the vehicle would still start and operate. It seems to me that this situation is more severe, akin to a short circuit in the loom.

What leads you to believe it is ABS?

Re: Genuine Audi Swivel/Retracting Towbar Retrofit for A4 B9 and Allroad

Do you own a PDF of the wire installation? I am intending to create my own harness. I have identified the necessary connectors; however, I am uncertain about several connecting locations in the Audi wiring.

Re: Rear brake pads and rotors

I have never interfered with the hydraulics when replacing pads and discs. The disc holding screws on our 2013 model were seized, necessitating the use of an impact driver.

Re: Reach out to BMW Technical Support

Perhaps, however I have seen reports online of an owner who had the clutch rebuilt by BMW, and the performance remained unchanged thereafter. Avoiding the expenditure of around £2,000... I need to test the clutch in another 218i, if available, since they are mostly automated (I wonder why?). Returni...

Re: Reach out to BMW Technical Support

2020 F46 218i Gran Tourer The clutch on my wife's 218i Gran Tourer is too heavy, resulting in discomfort and pain in her left leg after driving. It is more substantial than the clutch in my 330Ci or any other vehicle I have operated. Upon examining 'RealOEM', I see that some F46 models (218d, 220i, ...

Reach out to BMW Technical Support

Is there a method to reach BMW for a technical inquiry? I contacted customer.information@bmw.co.uk, however they just sent me to my local dealer. Independent garages must have the capability to reach them.
