Re: Here we go again with EV6 and ICCU! (Ev6 Facelift)

They stated it looks like ICCU, but it would take a few of days to check. The car is currently in the garage.

Considering that the "stop safely and check power supply warning" came on before the "battery warning light," is it necessary to replace the 12v?

Re: Here we go again with EV6 and ICCU! (Ev6 Facelift)

Plus, Kia Assistance is terrible; the RAC still hasn't been up after two days of waiting. After two attempts, Kia Customer Service informed me that they are powerless to help and that I would need to continue contacting RAC. I mentioned that I bought a car for £45,000, but it broke down within a yea...

Re: Here we go again with EV6 and ICCU! (Ev6 Facelift)

thanks for the reply. The car was parked outside at the airport. Been waiting 6 hours today (so far) at home for the RAC to arrive again. Spoke to the dealership - they said the MY22 ICCUs are easy to get hold of, but he’s not sure if MY25 can use that one. Having said that I’m not even sure I want ...

Here we go again with EV6 and ICCU! (Ev6 Facelift)

Two years ago, the ICCU failed on my My2022 EV6, which I had for three years. It was a major hassle when it happened. Re: Relationship: Independent vs. dealer

There was a lot of back-and-forth adjustment because they had to raise the ride height, which changed the cambers. After that, I felt so much better—solid and grounded.
That vehicle was mine.

Re: Relationship: Independent vs. dealer

For something that took over 90 minutes to finish, the £90 my dealership charged seemed fair.

Re: Have any of you ever done the 9G transmission service yourself?

The tool is required to rotate the tap's body. In all candour, the tap's several settings are confusing and unsatisfactory. Once you master it, it's fine, but if you're the kind to second-guess yourself later, I'd recommend hiring an expert ;)

Re: the E300de

The three S212s I had made me assume that, from the outside, they are about the same size as a contemporary C class. As far as riding quality is concerned, these awful batteries are on par with you. Naturally, this isn't exclusive to Mercedes. Nationwide, we've shifted toward a harsher ride "qu...
