Re: Oil level for the 2020 C-Class coupe

The oil level is crucial to monitor; by the time the low pressure indicator activates, damage may occur within seconds. Nevertheless, my 100,000-mile OM 642 has not used any oil throughout the year I have had it; yet, it is equipped with a dipstick for monitoring levels.

Re: Depleted battery?

The AGM battery I installed previously measured approximately 13 volts.
I would have expected a new acid battery to be approximately 12.5 volts or higher. A 12.2v battery indicates around 50% charge.

Re: Oil leak in 520d

Remove the input pipe from the front of the engine and assess the impeller; I would wager it exhibits significant axial play.
Furthermore, if you remove the exhaust from the turbocharger, I suppose it will be significantly oily inside.

Re: Oil leak in 520d

Turbo is the probable culprit, particularly if it is the N47 twin power turbo, which is known for its propensity to fail.

Re: Entirely novel

The connects2 kit preserves the original controls; however, I lost the steering wheel controls, albeit there are YouTube instructions available to assist in resolving this issue. 👍
