If the oil level is very high, either have it changed or extracted using a Pela. An elevated oil level may cause it to leak through the turbo seals, resulting in significant damage and a much larger repair expense compared to the little cost of an oil change or garage service.

My wife and I had a test drive and received the same information. I first dismissed it, but the individual from the dealership, seated at the rear, remarked that he could not see it. Undoubtedly merits examination.

It seems that an aftermarket immobiliser is installed, since I have not encountered a BMW that emits a beeping sound when inserting the key. If it is, I doubt ISTA will provide any information. You need a someone to examine and ascertain if any aftermarket components are installed.

What is the mileage? It may be advisable to replace the gearbox oil if the mileage exceeds around 70,000 miles. Attempt to engage manual mode on the vehicle and operate at 40 mph throughout several gears to see whether the issue continues.

If you own a pair of jumper cables, just connect them to another vehicle and let it to run at a low speed for a short period of time. This will provide sufficient charge for the C-tek to function.
