If I were in charge, I would have kept the tray in place until I needed to take it out.From the time I changed my radiator a month later, I forgot about the 10mm ring spanner.

If i-Pedal is disabled when reversing, it sounds like how it will behave. While reversing, keep i-Pedal engaged while at a standstill in D or R if you're utilising it. It does what you say it will do if you disable i-Pedal while reversing.

Does it appear to be the front or back pads? If they are in good condition, it's likely due to a damaged sensor.

Excellent synthesis of several issues with FSD. Without major advancements in hardware, Tesla's method is unlikely to ever be effective. It was the magnetic wheel bearing that was causing the problems on our B200. The sensor detects impulses when the wheel spins, and the seal is also magnetic.
You may purchase the bearings and have them pushed into place, but I ended up replacing the whole knuckle.
