Thank you for your assistance. vendimoto55 Indeed, there is no emergency chord on this model, and regrettably, it lacks a ski hatch. To lower the back section of the rear seats, there are spring-loaded latches located just behind the seat in the trunk. They have not really considered that.

Greetings, Are you referring to the area beneath the rear seats? My device lacks cords, and I do not remember any object entering the latch except from the robust metal cable connected to the key fob.

Accessing the trunk is necessary to lower the back seats in the E60.

Greetings everyone, I am experiencing difficulties. I attempted to repair the boot latch on my cherished E60 LCI (2010) saloon. After a vexing afternoon, I became distracted and closed the boot with the latch cable detached from the key fob mechanism, rendering it inoperable. I now I must drill into...
