I purchased an F10 530d LCI with 83,000 miles.
The car was suffering from the well-known brake juddering problem. I discovered rust on the inner edges of the brake discs during my check. The prior brand of brake pads was Apec, although the condition of the worn discs made determining its manufacture problematic.
I had the front discs and pads changed with Febi Discs and Bosch Pads to remedy the issue. After meticulous preparation, the callipers and hub were wire brushed, the pins were oiled and cleaned, and new discs were inserted.
After around 50 kilometres, I observed that the look of the new discs is peculiar. The cross hatch patterns seen in the centre of fresh discs are still there, but the margins have faded.
This seems to be happening on both sides of the car. On the plus side, the juddering has gone away, and the brakes now feel adequate.
Given the facts, I'd want to know whether this is a common occurrence in similar instances.

Normal during the bedding-in time, it will level out throughout the disc when you have driven more miles and utilised your brakes more.

2 or 3 hundred miles, or even more occasionally, to bed them in, or a lot more if you make lengthy m/way runs. occasionally even more.
You shouldn't attempt to shatter the discs too hard since it will distort them.

Thank you. I suppose I'll just wait it out (and hope the judder doesn't return).

As previously stated, attempt to refrain from forceful braking for a while, as this will distort the discs and cause the judder to return.

Just to let you know, the new brakes seem fine and have evened out.
Also, not related to brakes:
Had a rumble when going over 60 mph on the highway. The steering wheel was shaking, and so was the floor. This was fixed because the tyres were sometimes out of balance by as much as 70 grammes. Went to a real tyre shop (with a road force machine) to get it done, but I didn't get a road force. Worst of all, I went to a local tyre shop 5 days ago and they said my wheels were "fine" in terms of balance.
The car is running as it should.

A shop similar to the one may be found in our neighbourhood.
In addition to this, they pump up a new tyre that they have just installed to around 50 psi.
Only only visited the location once, haha.
