Greetings
Recently, I came across a discussion in a Kia site that provided instructions on how to reset and partially clear the Gen 5W head unit by pressing specific buttons on the central console. I decided to try it because my head unit was experiencing sluggish performance, and it successfully resolved the issue. Following the most recent update, the head unit often becomes unresponsive at the confirmation screen. I am unable to locate the relevant thread and the issue persists despite attempting to resolve it by using the reset button.
Could someone kindly provide me with information on the specific thread or a concise enumeration of the console buttons that need to be pressed simultaneously, preferably a combination of three buttons.
Thank you.

The current performance of the confirm screen is suboptimal. Simply be patient and the situation will become evident.

My device is not experiencing little delays; rather, it consistently becomes unresponsive for the whole duration of my excursions. This morning, it remained stuck on the confirm screen for two separate trips, each lasting 30 minutes.

Uncertain about the potential usefulness of this information, considering both entities use identical systems.

I recommend creating a backup of your user profile in Connect to avoid the need to reset all your preferences.

Thank you. Currently, I am unable to go beyond the confirmation page, which is preventing me from accessing the desired menu. The former mechanism used central console buttons to do the same function, therefore circumventing the need of using the screen to reset it. I previously used it with success, but the recent upgrade has deteriorated the system's performance. Consequently, I desired to attempt it again; nevertheless, regrettably, I neglected to record the necessary button configurations.

I just initiated a discussion on the Kia Owners Club Forum about an unusual behaviour. The topic has been recently updated, indicating that I am not the only one experiencing this issue. I am curious whether the automobile is attempting to establish communication with the servers, and that is the root cause of the issue.

The issue seems to have resolved on its own, since the Confirm button appeared promptly. since I said in my earlier article, I believe this was due to the automobile attempting to establish communication with the servers. Maybe they inserted an additional shilling inside the metre. :|
