The heater control is malfunctioning. It was functioning correctly before but now it does not transition between defrost, vent, and floor settings as it should. It remains blowing air from the defrost and floor vents, which are the default settings.

Question 3. What is the reason for titling your topic as "2nd question"? What was the first question? There are several discussions on this platform. Entitling it as "Heater Direction Control Not Working" might be beneficial for potential respondents.

Thank you. Does it feel attached to anything when you spin it? I am unfamiliar with the operation on a Mini. Whether it's mechanical (manually adjusting flaps to change direction) or electronic, the flaps are motor-driven. I am certain that someone here will have the knowledge.

The problem is in the cable drive system, which will need disassembly to pinpoint the specific issue.

I continue to acquire knowledge. It must be well designed, since mine works flawlessly. Doesn't feel like manipulating a cable.

This pertains to electronic control.
The lights on the front of the device are functional, however they do not alter the direction of airflow.
