What is the recommended interval for changing the coolant in my e90 320d?

I believe BMW views it as a lifetime component, however I personally replace mine every 2 years, similar to brake fluid.

I'm not certain whether it's permanent, but I may be mistaken.
I typically do my every 2 years, but I also consider replacing it every 4 years.

I am certain that it typically takes 5 years.
Halfords suggests every 2 years, so every 5 years should be plenty.
My car is scheduled for a milestone mileage service next week at 150,000 miles. The service will include changing the engine oil, gearbox oil, differential oil, and brake fluid.
I have also seen references to mileage ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 miles.

BMW formerly suggested a coolant change every 2 years, but with the introduction of G48 long-life coolant, a 5-year interval seems appropriate.
For BMW, "lifetime" refers to the end of the warranty term or the normal duration of a leased automobile.
