The state of charge (SoC) of the automobile significantly decreases when the car door is opened.

Greetings, everyone.

Inquiry for proficient users....

I have just acquired a fresh battery and have attached a battery monitor.

I have seen a significant decrease in the battery's state of charge when I clean the vehicle inside or work on the car with the doors open for a duration of 30 minutes to 1 hour.

I recently replaced the door lock, a process that required many hours. Prior to doing so, I deactivated the auto interior lights and removed the dash cam. However, despite these actions, the door lock still experienced a loss of charge, resulting in a warning on my battery monitor. I received a notification stating that the pdc was not accessible during the first restart, maybe owing to a low battery level. However, it quickly returned alright.

The drive quickly regains its usual charge and I do not get any low battery alerts in the vehicle. However, I am curious whether this is a typical occurrence and if I am just seeing it due to the Battery Monitor.

Greetings!

Dear friend, I have observed that my state of charge (SOC) is consistently inaccurate when the measurement exceeds 12V.

Dear friend, I appreciate your response. To be honest, my response also lacks sufficient information, which may not be correct as you said.

Upon unlocking the vehicle, several systems are activated, rendering the act of shutting off the inside lights ineffective. An effective charge after any task or cleaning of the inside (with doors open) promptly resolves the issue.

Thank you. It seems that you are correct, as it did not.
I will charge it now that the weather is little less humid...Greetings

Indeed, my situation is same, but, without the presence of a monitor, we would remain unaware. Always begins satisfactorily.

Curiously, what is the number of door openings required to deplete the battery to a point where the automobile becomes incapable of turning over and starting?

The individual in question produced the film as a direct reaction to their own encounter with a white defender during a camping trip, whereby they successfully neutralised the battery via a series of acts.

Curiously, I have observed that everytime my automobile undergoes maintenance or a test, the technicians always open the windows while keeping the doors mainly shut. Perhaps to enable them to use some functions without the need to open the doors and deplete the battery.
