The vehicle identification number (VIN) is WDB2112202B055872.
Could someone verify whether the component number A0029934296 corresponds to the serpentine belt used for the power steering, water pump, and alternator?
I would want to be well-prepared in order to place a telephone order in France, using the French language.
Every time I use the internet tools, I find myself caught in a repetitive cycle.
Installing the belt seems to be very straightforward, if there is sufficient access. Loosen the tension using a 17mm socket, and then follow the internet instructions to correctly insert the belt. And there you have it, the task is successfully completed.
Thank you as always.

Do you own the previous belt? It is possible that the component still has a part number.

Regrettably, it is fragmented into little components that have been meticulously fastened together with a bow.

The part number you provided is accurate.
You may also use the preceding part numbers: A 00 199 375 96 or A 64 299 702 92.

Did you exclude the air conditioning compressor?
Presuming that was a mistake: The length of A0029934296 is 2035mm.

It may be necessary to replace the idlers while installing the new belt. When I examined my bearings, I saw that they were producing a significant amount of noise. After leaving them untouched on the bench for a period of two days, I discovered that one of the bearings had become completely immobilised.

Thank you all so much. Indeed, I neglected to remember the air conditioning compressor. Best regards

Thank you very much. Perhaps it would be most advantageous for me to let the local mechanic to examine it. The belt broke due to a specific cause, and because she is approaching 300k, it would be wise to address the issue. Thank you once again, everyone, for your prompt assistance.

Excellent strategy. I performed a comprehensive maintenance on my vehicle, which included replacing the water pump, alternator clutch pulley, tensioner, and idlers. I will not return to that place for a considerable period of time. The automobile had accumulated 105 km when I performed the operation.

The belt disengaged effortlessly - it had no discernible marks. However, its condition seems to be subpar. I have included some photographs in order to see whether anybody can deduce any inferences from them. I am curious whether there is an obstruction causing a seizure, and the lines on the smooth surface indicate the path it has been dragged around the affected location (if there is truly one). There were no indications of overheating before, and both the power steering and air conditioning were functioning well. In the morning, there was a faint noise that became louder as the engine revved, although it was not too loud. The noise then ceased before returning once again. Today, I purchased a brand new Mercedes belt for €67, which is around £55 without including freight. Overall, it was a reasonable deal.
