Greetings, gentlemen.I currently own a Series 4 f36 with 18-inch wheels and I am interested in replacing them with 19-inch aftermarket wheels.
The Vossen 1AV ZX1 wheels are black and polished. The dimensions of the wheels are 19 inches in diameter, with the front wheels being 8.5 inches wide and the rear wheels measuring 9.5 inches wide.

This is my first experience purchasing wheels and I have little knowledge on the subject.
I am inquiring if it is necessary for the back wheel to have a greater width. If the answer is yes, then what are the appropriate specifications for the tyres in terms of size and width?
Additionally, I would want to install spacers on my car. I have an Xdrive model. Will this have any impact on the vehicle?
Will I need realignment for all four wheels in the end?
What further criteria should I consider?

Thank you everybody for your assistance. I appreciate it. 🤗

It is typical for all four to have the same size, therefore it is not an issue.
The alignment should remain unaffected and the use of spacers is acceptable.

Currently, I have 18-inch tyres with a width of 225 on the front and 255 on the rear. However, after checking the information on the door, it indicates that for 19-inch tyres, the recommended sizes are 225 for the front and 255 for the rear. Therefore, I am uncertain if it would be advisable to use the same tyre size for all four wheels.

Yes, I have used a square tyre configuration before. However, it is also possible to use a square wheel configuration. In order to maintain the accuracy of the speedometer, it is necessary to ensure that the tyres are properly matched.

Additionally, I would want to get regular tyres instead of runflats. However, I have heard that this choice may have an impact on the drivetrain. Is this information accurate?

If the vehicle has an x drive system, it may be suitable. However, it is advisable to use high-quality branded tyres and maintain the typical staggered tyre setup for optimal performance.

I am considering purchasing either the Pirelli Powergy, ContiSport 5, or Pilot Sport 5 Michelin tyres.

Standard tyres will suffice and provide a much improved riding experience in my opinion.
I recommend using the same tyre pressures, since this is a common question that arises.
