ten monitor the automotive industry to be informed about the available vehicles for purchase.
I saw the recent sale of a black series CLK63AMG a few days ago.

The automobile was sold on June 26, 2023, for a total of £90,000, including additional expenses.

After a period of exactly 6 months, the same automobile, which had accumulated an additional 853 miles, was sold for a total of £121,000, inclusive of costs. Earning £31k in 6 months is a substantial sum, particularly given the current state of the auto market.

The SL65AMG, albeit an outdated advertisement, astounds me with its first sale price of £42750 plus fees, and even more so with its subsequent sale one year later for £90500 plus costs. Certain automobiles have the potential to increase in value over time, and many of us who own high-performance vehicles like AMG's are interested in the possibility of selling our cars for a higher price. However, if any of my cars were to appreciate by over £50k in just one year, my response would simply be to purchase a few other cars and sell them after a year.

The vehicle in question is the CLK63 AMG from the Black series.

Only exclusive and rare automobiles have the ability to achieve such a feat in the present market. The majority of cars, particularly those that use a lot of fuel and have a Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) of £695, are seeing a significant decline in value.

Prices of cars, including caravans for my company, have seen a significant decline this month. I agree that book prices have been too high for almost a year. It is about time that glasses are needed to clearly see this issue.

Both items were initially inexpensive, perhaps due to the absence of two individuals in the room who had a genuine need for them. On the second occasion, the room contained two individuals.

Both vehicles have a deficient service record that would be difficult for me to overlook. I am often astonished by the fact that individuals who own very costly vehicles often neglect to get them maintained.

Indeed, you are correct. Collectible automobiles will consistently command high prices regardless of market conditions.

You have accurately articulated the thoughts that were in my mind, but I was unable to express them verbally.

It is common for cars with very few mileage to have incomplete service records. Presumably, this occurs because these vehicles remain stationary and unused for extended periods of time.

Furthermore, these AMG automobiles are not ordinary. Both of these vehicles are very uncommon, having an extraordinarily limited manufacturing run and unbelievably low mileage of fewer than one thousand miles each year.

These arrangements do not provide any incentives for owners of standard SL63 vehicles in typical driving conditions, with a mileage of 100,000 miles over a span of 20 years (equivalent to 5,000 miles per year).

As suggested by "Young Robert," it is preferable to use and maintain autos rather than leaving them parked. (In reality, the facelifted SL500 is the vehicle that is more practical and functional on actual roads)

Vehicles do not qualify as "investments." If you had invested "a few bob" in the Magnificent Seven last year, it would have seen a 100% increase in value, with little costs. How impressive was that?

However, because you cannot bring your wealth with you after death, why not use it to indulge in aged whisky, youthful companions, and swift horses?

Regrettably, despite my generous offer of £40k for the SL65, the first owner declined and subsequently sold it for a lower price. I am unsure of how it managed to reach a value of £90k thereafter, since other vehicles with comparable mileage have not come close to that amount. The vehicle had expert detailing on a weekly basis under the ownership of its initial owner.

It was odd to see that the documentation for the SL65 had a comprehensive Mercedes-Benz history. The vehicle had a licence plate consisting of three digits when I saw it. I am curious to know whether it is really a distinct vehicle, but it has the same colour specification and mileage.
