Unfortunately, I am unable to provide much assistance in that case. Are you certain that there isn't an available aftermarket immobiliser or tracker that may be present but not yet discovered? My tracker, which is now disabled, nevertheless contains the wiring necessary to immobilise the engine if it chooses to do so.
In addition, if the engine operates similarly to direct injection diesel engines (such as the R8, which also has direct injection), the fuel injectors will not activate until sufficient fuel pressure has been established. This may not result in an error since it is somewhat anticipated to have inadequate pressure throughout the cranking phase. Using VCDS, you may get real-time fuel pressure data. However, I am uncertain about the specific pressure requirements for petrol engines. There is a place to search. I have enough experience with TDI engines and the intermittent starting problems caused by fuel pressure concerns.

Is it possible that it occurs during periods of elevated ambient temperatures? I am acquainted with an individual who had a similar problem when the vehicle would not commence if the ambient temperatures exceeded 95 degrees. Would just turn forcefully.
