We have a pair of sliding doors in our house that were installed some years ago by a carpenter, and the sliding mechanism has stopped working.

might somebody provide guidance on the correct nomenclature and the location from which I might get a replacement?

The measurement of the length is 143 centimetres, while the height is 3 centimetres.

I appreciate your assistance beforehand.

"Rails for sliding door runners." Both Amazon and eBay have a few.

Are those doors for a closet or doors for a room? whether the latter option is being considered, it is worth noting that we had this barn door design installed a few months ago and we are really satisfied with it. However, when examining the photographs, I am uncertain whether there is sufficient room available.

It seems to be straightforward.

I have a question about safety measures. Specifically, I would want to know what mechanisms are in place to prevent the door from toppling over when it is raised, apart from the possibility of the door being too heavy for somebody to accidentally lift. It is surprising that there was no protective cover in place to prevent it from happening. Do you have any suggestions or thoughts?
