The local independent mechanic has provided me with a quotation of £350 for a B service. It is very burdensome to me, but could you kindly verify if my perception is only a result of self-deception or whether it is really rational?
Additionally, are there any particular crucial service tasks that must be performed at the 100,000-mile mark?
What is the cost of the 100,000-mile service for the E280 W211?

In my opinion, the B service seems satisfactory. I would recommend considering a gearbox oil change, which would cost around £400.

The B service is similar to the A service, but it involves more inspections, which results in a longer duration. In addition to inspections and topping up, the sole service provided is an oil change. Other components such as the air filter and spark plugs have their own distinct maintenance regimens. Enquire extensively.

It seems that the automobile requires Service A. (100,000-mile service) MB charges £725 for this service, which includes a coolant replacement as well.
