Greetings to everyone,
I have been perusing this and other boards intermittently for weeks in search of a solid solution, however the information remains perplexing.
I own the aforementioned vehicle, which is equipped with coilovers at the front, adjustable drop links at the back (for the air bags), and 19-inch wheels. The appearance is commendable; but, the ride is very rigid and low. I want to get M-Sport suspension, preferably equal to OEM if it results in cost savings, along with 17" wheels. Desire arches positioned towards the upper edge of the tire. I am unable to use RealOEM since my vehicle is a SE, and I want sport suspension.
Could someone kindly provide guidance on the brand and model of the components required for a comprehensive front refresh? I will retain airbags (and adjustable drop links) in the back, or modify them if deemed necessary. Preferably, information about sway bars and purchasing options in the UK.
I have been experiencing a cyclical pattern and would much value any information.
Thank you!
Modification/Refresh of E39 530i Touring SE to M-Sport Suspension

Eibach Pro-Kit suspension springs
Sachs 556 834 shock absorbers
Sachs 802 186 upper mounts
Sachs 900 084 rubber boot and supplementary damper
If original struts are unavailable, original components 6, 7, 9, and 13 from the schematic are also required.

Do Eibach springs serve as a substitute for OEM M-Sport springs, or is there a distinct OEM M-Sport spring available?

No direct aftermarket alternative for the original springs is available. The original spring component numbers cannot be located in standard online part diagrams, since they are listed on a separate spring table inside the dealer TIS. To get the exact component numbers for M-sport springs, you would need to know the VIN of a compatible car if yours is a SE model. The spring table also considers other equipment on the vehicle that affects axle load, and there are options with slight modifications available. For instance, my E39 530d M-sport sedan has three distinct spring numbers available.
Eibach Pro-Kit springs are the most comparable aftermarket components to M-sport springs in terms of characteristics and ride height.
