I own a 2019 Evoke, SE, P250, R Dynamic, and my right indicator and corresponding headlamp are nonfunctional. I am in Australia, however purchasing the item from my RR dealer costs more than a month's salary. Has anybody ever had this issue without needing to replace the machine, maybe due to an electrical malfunction? I am quite distressed due to the high sum required. I can get a pre-owned vehicle for that money. I anticipated it would be costly, but not to this extent! Do you have any suggestions for actions I may take? Am I aware of the answer? PS: The xenon and codes are L551 19MY Mid LT.

Merely verifying. Does this pertain to the 'New' Evoque form (L551) including LED headlights, or the previous Evoque model (L538) with bigger headlamp units? Have you attempted to interchange the light units from left to right or right to left to see if the issue is with the wiring/FET or the unit itself? The simultaneous failure of both the headlight and turn signal indicates a potential issue with the ground return. Is there a shared ground, and is it rusted or compromised in the wiring?

Indeed, it is the new design L551, but I first believed they were xenon. However, you are likely correct; they may be LED instead. I am female and new to this, therefore my uncertainty. I am uncertain; it is now nighttime in Australia, but I will attempt to verify tomorrow.

Recently, I had it serviced, during which a diagnostic was conducted and a comprehensive software upgrade was performed. This would not have interfered with the electrical system to impact the LED light?

They are LED and are rather expensive. There are three categories: basic, mid (yours), and premium, which have matrix LEDs and are about the cost of a small kid. It is necessary to verify that the failure is with the light unit rather than the wiring or FET (a kind of self-resetting fuse).

Regrettably, I wish I had possessed this knowledge prior to my purchase in August.
How can I ascertain if the light unit has malfunctioned, or how can I inspect the wiring or FET? It everything seems to be challenging, amusingly.
I am not too concerned if it is something I can resolve independently without visiting Range Rover; they have indicated that the cost of the unit alone will be $5,300 plus work.I am considering around $6000, which explains my heightened anxiety in this situation.
Thank you for dedicating your time to assist me. Greatly appreciated

The vehicle is operated by computers that manage all functions. I understand that the vehicle systems need updates (reprogramming) to operate the enhanced headlight units, which suggests a potential error in the software update. Return it and request them to examine it, maybe asking about the software they upgraded.

The Sota Software for my navigation was upgraded, and IMC Variant configuration was performed.
