Greetings to everyone
This evening, an issue occurred with my 2005 E53 when I turned sharply at full lock, resulting in the system becoming inactive, the 4x4 warning light illuminating, and the wheels locking, causing the vehicle to rattle. Executed a full rotation of the steering wheel and the vehicle operated normally. It is not flawless, but as soon as I engaged my drive, it locked once again. The 4x4 light has remained on since the installation of new driveshafts nine months ago. Is it possible for the steering sensor to be the source of this issue? I had previously changed the connections, but not the whole device. Or is it more probable that it is the transfer box?
Any guidance would be welcomed.

What is the condition of the tire tread depths?
It is worthwhile to extract the codes to see whether they provide any insights.

Differential windup caused by an individual installing a new tyre on one axle.
If the tires exhibit a tread depth disparity over 2mm, this will occur, and the duration of the tire mixture may result in irreversible damage.

Greetings. All tires are of the same type and were replaced nine months ago.
Fluid transfer was altered concurrently with the replacement of the plastic cog in the motor.

Conduct a code scan and live data assessment, perhaps indicating a loss of speed signal from one of the wheels, assuming the tires are in satisfactory condition.

Persistent air gap in the front left sensor. The whole vehicle vibrates at idle, and when I spin the wheels, they get locked. Upon straightening, the automobile resists rolling, even in neutral.

You have had the automobile for an extended duration.
I am contemplating the previous owner and the tires, since the noise resembles that of the differential.
I may be incorrect, therefore I shall monitor the results.

I have had it for three years. How can I check the difference?
Elevate it and rotate the wheels. In gear or neutral?
