Greetings to everybody,
I just acquired a BMW Series 1 from a scrap yard, which I want to restore as my new project. The vehicle has had significant wiring issues, and I am searching for a wiring diagram. Several bypasses have been made on the fuse box in the trunk, resulting in the car being non-operational.
All assistance would be much appreciated. Please, I implore you.
Thank you in advance.

Your optimal course of action is to locate and download a whole copy of ista, since it has all the drawings when completely installed.

I lack a link, but a Google search should provide relevant results.

Greetings, Update on Bimmer 1: I believe I have identified the issues causing the no-start condition and the absence of dashboard lights. Discussions with colleagues indicate that the problem may lie with the steering lock, which appears to be failing to send signals to the ECU to activate. I attempted to replace the battery in the key fob, but it had no effect. Therefore, I plan to remove the steering lock from the column and conduct tests. I remain hopeful that this will restore functionality.

I believe it will not be a concern, since the vehicle will activate upon detecting a door unlock signal or when a door is opened.
Even with a malfunctioning steering lock, the dashboard should illuminate, however it will display a steering lock error.
It seems you are primarily addressing a CAS or FEM issue; it is essential to get a schematic, since indiscriminately deleting or changing components in the goal of achieving functionality is inadvisable.

Hello, I am experiencing a similar problem; the vehicle is unresponsive. Did you identify the cause of this issue? I suspect FEM.
