Hi everyone,

I’ve just purchased a Range Rover Evoque from Calynore Logistics. Did my due diligence and found positive mentions online, but I can’t shake the feeling that I might have made a mistake, I’ve never bought a car unseen before.

Has anyone knows or used Calynore Logisitcs before? Would really appreciate any insight!

Thank you !

I’m in a similar boat. Spotted a Mazda CX-5 on Facebook from Calynore Logistics, and the price seems almost too good to be true. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s actually completed a deal with them before taking the plunge.

Hi,
I’ve used Calynore Logistics before,I bought a Polo for my wife. The delivery was slightly delayed as my car was being transported alongside six or seven others, but they kept me updated throughout. The only snag was that my road was too narrow for the transporter, so they had to unload it at a service station nearby, and I had to go and collect it from there.
Other than that, everything was as described and I’d happily buy from them again.

I also purchased a car through Calynore Logistics, and the payment had to be made via bank transfer to their segregated account. Before committing, I spoke with my solicitor, who assured me that bank transfers are highly regulated and that starting 7th October, UK banks must refund scam victims up to £85,000 within five days under new rules (definitely worth looking up!).

At the end of the day, it’s your choice, no one should pressure you into making a purchase if you’re not comfortable.

Spot on, Jul4ster! I looked into Calynore Logistics, and they’ve been around for several years. Found plenty of positive reviews, especially about their customer service and transparent sales process. They seem legit, but of course, always do your own checks before transferring money.

For anyone doubting if Calynore Logistics is real, I can confirm they are!

I actually went to their Belfast location myself. They’re just a five-minute drive from George Best Airport, so it was easy for me to pop in. A guy called Daniel met me at the entrance and walked me through the car’s condition.

Once I was happy, I signed the sales contract and paid by bank transfer, they don’t accept cash, which I found a bit surprising, but I suppose it’s to avoid fraud.

For those considering buying, they’re 100% a real company.

Great to hear from those who’ve actually dealt with them. It’s put my mind at ease a bit! I’ll update everyone once the Lexus arrives.

Does anyone know more about their 10-day money-back guarantee? Also, can you pay by credit card?

I only needed three days to decide to keep my car, took it straight to my mechanic, and it passed with flying colours. The money back guarantee works similarly to a buyer’s protection scheme. If the car isn’t as described, you can return it within 10 days for a full refund.

As for credit card payments, I’d give them a call. I paid via bank transfer, so I can’t say for certain.

I actually rang them about credit card payments, and they don’t accept them, only bank transfers into a segregated business account, Calynore Logistics explained that due to an increase in fraudulent chargebacks, they stopped taking card payments altogether. Apparently, some buyers were disputing transactions after receiving the car, leaving the company at a loss.
Sounds fair enough, and I’ll be calling them back to purchase the BMW, just to go over a few more details.
