On Friday, October 3rd, I travelled from Filey in Yorkshire to Peterborough, a distance of 154 miles, in unpleasant weather conditions with rain for the most of the journey.
I often use adaptive cruise control, lane centring, and blind spot warnings via wing mirrors and HUD, as I have always found these features to provide a more calm driving experience.
However, throughout this journey, they sometimes malfunctioned, prompting me to deactivate the lane centring feature.
The blind spot warning was entirely unreliable. I maintained a speed of around 60 mph on the M roads and A1, resulting in considerable traffic passing me. The blind spot alert detected less than half of these vehicles on both the left-hand and right-hand sides.
However, the highway centring was very perilous! It attempted to force me into a roadside ditch on two occasions while on A roads. And into the sides of trucks on M highways.
I will address this with KIA.

Kia explicitly cautions in the handbook that adverse weather conditions, particularly heavy rain, snow, and mud, might impair the functionality of driver assistance warning sensors, and reliance on them in such circumstances is inadvisable. They advise that under these circumstances, adaptive cruise control and lane assistance should not be used.

I have received many alerts during intense rainfall; the driver is always in complete control, or at least ought to be.

As previously said, I have seen warnings during inclement weather, including heavy rain and dense fog; I just deactivate them, decrease my speed, and operate the vehicle in accordance with the prevailing circumstances.

Extremely sagacious! I would that the 90% of drivers who completely ignore weather dangers would exhibit similar caution.

If you do not trust automatic driving assistance! It is evident that you are encountering difficulties with it. Cease its use. The handbook contains several cautions about these technologies; use is at your own risk.

If I accurately interpret your first post, you are indicating that you disregarded Kia's recommendations in the handbook, proceeded to use the systems they advised disabling in inclement weather, and then posted a complaint on their inadequate performance in such conditions, necessitating their deactivation.
It resembles the scenario where the guidelines advise against placing metal things in the microwave, however you proceed to do so; subsequently, when the outcome aligns with the warnings, you reach out to the manufacturer to express your dissatisfaction.

Secondly, I said, "the weather is unpleasant and it has been raining for the majority of the journey." It was not snowing, hailing, misty or stormy; it was only regular rain. To be more precise, the windscreen wipers were set to automatic and were mostly functioning occasionally. And at times, not wiping anything!
