Hello, I possess a 2018 Evoque Landmark 2WD automatic, acquired from Vertu, which includes a three-year guarantee and a service plan. Excellent vehicle acquired in January 2024 at 25,000 miles; currently at 37,000 miles. Any guidance about a minor windscreen issue would be appreciated.Thank you.

Numerous threads on the forum pertain to this prevalent topic.
The issue may lie in the windscreen seal. The issue may be to the door seal.
My local body shop refuses to address water leaks due to the difficulty in identifying the precise source, and the tendency for these issues to recur.

I may not be of significant assistance, but it is essential to identify the source of the leak. My assumption would be the windscreen, however. You may be among the fortunate individuals whose insurance covers the procedure. Kindly conduct a search to ascertain the opinions expressed by others on this platform. I trust this will be beneficial.

Thank you for your counsel; I will pursue the insurance option. Consider utilising the warranty as well. Thank you once more.

Utilising the search bar will provide numerous threads containing responses on this topic, as the windscreen leakage issue is extensively recorded. Review several posts to determine the appropriate line of action.

The accumulation typically occurs at the upper edge of the screen, likely collecting in the rearview mirror housing and subsequently spreading across the dashboard. If not addressed promptly, it may result in various electrical issues. Additionally, soggy carpets and, if installed, the amplifier/subwoofer beneath the passenger seat may be susceptible to damage from water intrusion.
