Problem with the odometer of the EV9

I have observed a dramatic increase in the odometer reading during the past six weeks. I documented the mileage for service records from the dashboard at 12,000, but I then observed an increase of approximately 4,000 miles within six weeks, which was physically implausible given my driving circumstances. The app's journey log accurately records the mileage at 1200 miles. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hello, it has certainly not been converted to kms. The display is in miles.

If inaccurate, it may diminish the car's worth, exceed an established mileage restriction, and/or incur a tax of 3p per mile in the future, which could become costly. Would enhance the miles per kWh metric.

This is a complete nightmare; so, I must restrict the travels to remain under the mileage limit. Kia asserts that they cannot identify anything unusual.
