F31 from 2014
Okay, so I removed the door card in the mistaken belief that the damp carpet was the door seal barrier; however, I later discovered that water had been trickling around the speaker and the barrier.
Instead of buying a new speaker, is there another solution because I can't seem to locate replacement seals?

I checked the door seal, but it appears to be the speaker, not the carpet on the back of the driver's side.

Maybe installing a shield around the speaker would have been too expensive for BMW, but it does make you wonder why water is able to get into the door via the window unimpeded.
