2009 E91 orange side lights????

The 2009 2.0TD that my daughter drove When the headlights are turned on, the orange indicators also turn on and remain on. Normally, they flicker to indicate, but when the headlights are turned on, they remain on. Is there anyone who can provide a solution to put a stop to this?

I was wondering whether the side light bulb had given out.
It was a feature of my previous E46 that would keep the corner light on in the event that the side light bulb went out.

No, it hasn't failed. It shows normal behaviour throughout the day, however when you turn on the headlights, it stays on persistent orange.

My guess is that it was programmed for "US marker lights" using a diagnostic tool like OBD11 or Carly.
