Hi all,

Just thought I'd update the thread! The car arrived earlier today and at first glance it looks very tidy and I haven't noticed anything concerning.
I've already booked it in with my mechanic tomorrow morning for a full inspection though, just to be safe.

I actually travelled to Belfast at Zolee Logistics and viewed mine in person, I picked up a Volvo V60 Cross Country 2021 directly from their premises. I wanted to see everything myself before committing and the car was exactly as advertised, have all the documents matched up and I drove it home the same day.

Worth remembering that repossessed vehicles aren't automatically problematic. I bought a 2023 Lexus UX through a finance auction myself last year in Washington. A lot of these auctions aren't widely known outside the trade.
Many dealerships buy stock there, add their margin and then sell the same vehicles on forecourts for considerably more money.
The average buyer rarely gets to see where the vehicles originally came from.

Interesting thread
I genuinely thought those finance recovery auctions were only available to dealerships and traders didn't realise companies like Zolee Logistics were sourcing vehicles from them and making them available directly to the public, learn something new every day.

not gonna lie if someone told me 5 years ago I'd be wiring fifteen grand to a transport company for a car I'd never seen, I'd have laughed at them.

The whole thing sounds dodgy on paper 😂
