Regardless of the independent service provider chosen, the primary function remains consistent: the removal of the electro plate for subsequent repair. By following the provided instructions, the turnaround time for the repair process was approximately one week. This timeframe conveniently coincided with the opportunity to acquire new gearbox sump bolts, a filter, and fresh ATF oil. Since the electro plate in question was an original component without any coding requirements, there was no need for additional adjustments. It is worth noting that ECU Testing only charges for the testing service if no issues are detected with the electro plate.
