Hello to you all once again. Well, on the way back this morning, I decided to buy a late-model 2007 SLK 350 Auto with 90,000 miles for my 110,000-mile 2008 SLK 280 in PX.
For another year, I should be receiving confirmation of a successful MoT, at which point I may start collecting.
Although I can't see any inside details of that specific automobile, the car essentially seems identical on the outside to the Silver car that MikeInWimbledon uploaded a picture of.
The one I'm receiving has a bit of a "Individual" feel to it thanks to the Red Seat Belts that go with the Twin Needle machining detail on the leather trim and the feature stitching on the steering wheel.
On the R170 SLKs, these little details were collectively referred to as Designo, and they were often painted using a limited number of specialty paint finishes.
I thought that this SLK 350 Auto was just too nice to pass up.
Images coming soon!
