Google maps is not visible on the dashboard located behind the steering wheel, but only on the primary display in the central console via CarPlay.
I use Amigo, a navigation system that has excellent rerouting capabilities and employs the same voice as the built-in navigation system. Both systems are developed by the same company in which Mercedes has a financial interest. However, Amigo only utilises the central screen and does not extend its functionality to the screen located behind the steering wheel.
