Update: The P0299 code was attributed to a loose vacuum pipe connected to the bigger wastegate. I used a clamp since the hose was becoming loose. The vehicle is once again displaying the P0248 code; however, there is no accompanying loss of power this time.

Power is intact; however, the code is shown without EML. Fascinating material; I am still attempting to comprehend this. I assume that the wastegate actuator rod may need correction. Lastly, the turbo flap requires cleaning.


I will provide updates on development in this topic.
