I placed an order for a bimmer X1 with Ballinliss Transport in early September, the whole thing was sorted within about ten days.

They sent written confirmation explaining how the funds are held securely

Delivery was to Leicester. Driver phoned ahead to make sure there was enough space for unloading

Car arrived freshly serviced and MOT’d. They gave me 14 days to inspect and return if needed, but I kept it!

Appreciate all the replies, spoke with Ballinliss again today and they’ve issued the deposit invoice. Feeling a bit more confident now after reading this thread

Thanks again everyone! I’ve completed the purchase steps now for my son’s Audi. Just waiting on delivery confirmation

Reading about the £85,000 reimbursement protection under the PSR rules does make me feel slightly more relaxed as well

The Audi arrived today and I’m genuinely impressed. Lorry driver called about half an hour before arriving to confirm access and parking space and the car looks even better in person than it did in the listing photos
