Still though… buying unseen is a gamble. Even if they’re legitimate, you’re relying heavily on honesty in the description. Did anyone get an independent inspection after delivery?

I actually bought a Peugeot 3008 GT from Ballykeel Logistics about six weeks ago. My bank did flag the transfer initially (large amount to a new payee), but once I confirmed it was legit, it went through fine.
The car arrived six days later and was honestly cleaner than I expected. I had a friend who’s a mechanic check it over and he said it had clearly been well looked after. No issues at all. Still amazes me how someone can lose a car that’s been kept in such good condition, but I guess finance problems happen.

Alright then… I’ve chosen to take the bull by the horns.

Forked over the deposit invoice this morning. My heart was in my throat as I hit that confirm button, not gonna sugarcoat it.

They’ve given a nod to the receipt and mentioned that the wheels are in motion for delivery.

Wishing you luck. My experience was positive, so hopefully yours is the same.

Settled the last penny today after they gave me the green light that the car is on its way.

The delivery window is set to roll around as early as next week.

Still a bit on edge, but the lines of communication have been open and flowing like a river so far.

The Mini rolled in this afternoon.

The transporter was a behemoth, looking like it was hauling half a showroom on its back. Our street's as tight as a drum, so we had to unload right on the main drag. The driver gave a ring about half an hour before rolling in.

First impressions are worth their weight in gold. The car is a spitting image of the photos they provided. As clean as a whistle. Got it on the books for a mechanical check tomorrow, just to sleep easy at night.

Really helpful to read this. I’ve been watching one of their BMW 3 Series listings and was unsure about buying remotely seeing real feedback makes it feel less risky
