Is it going to be a real bother to swap out the steering wheel on my 2011 CLS? It may be a little challenging to remove the 10mm hex bolt that MB uses, but I'm aware of it.
Changing the hex bolt has also been suggested to me. I am having trouble locating one in my area; is this part exclusive to primary dealers?

It will need two people to loosen the bolt; one must hold the wheel while the other removes it.

The bolt is considered a "special" and may only be purchased through authorised dealers.

In 2006, I will be performing the identical procedure. You can find the bolt for sale on eBay.
