Plug for draining

Hey there! I'm on the hunt for the two drain plugs that fit beneath the E46 coupe's battery tray in the trunk. Even BMW's official dealer was of little assistance. I would be eternally grateful if someone could tell me the name of the supplier or the component number for them. Regarding any assistance, I am grateful in advance.

Greetings and salutations. I appreciate you contacting me. I have tried searching for the part number using the real oem method, but when I do a Google search, the part that appears does not match the one that was there. Obviously, any water can drain out of the plug because it has a mesh in the middle. Despite what the main dealer told me, it is not a solid paint plug.

So you're claiming that the original plug contains a mesh? Blind grommets, 22 mm in diameter, are on my E91, the following generation.

It seems like the E46 I had before didn't have what you're saying.

Drain plugs with mesh are present in both my 2004 330 Coupe and my son's 2005 325 Coupe. I have tried to get the correct ones from them for my Skoda, but they were placed over six months ago, so I really doubt they will ever arrive—no matter how much I chase them, they just keep saying the order is in progress.

Never seen one before, however it would be cool to get one if you locate one.
If you happen to come across a part number, please inform us.
After cutting the center out of a piece of fine aluminium mesh—which I believe was part of a body repair kit from a long ago—I have cut a few little discs from it to fit in the bling gromet.
