Hello,

I've been searching for a decent first car for my son's birthday which is coming up in a couple of weeks. Yesterday evening I came across a 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid advertised online and I sent an enquiry assuming it was a private seller, but shortly afterwards I got a reply from Zolee Logistics.

Have anyone heard of them? Or even used them?

Thank you!

Have you checked whether Zolee Logistics is properly registered?

Yeah, that was one of the first things I checked and from what I found Zolee Logistics has been operating as a freight and transport company with number NI684046 still feels like a leap of faith though

I'm local and saw a truck with the Zolee Logistics name on it, but I've never purchased a vehicle or hired them myself, they're a legitimate company, not a fly-by-night operation.

Funny timing :)
I'm actually waiting on a 2021 BMW 118i M Sport from Zolee Logistics right now. They were supposed to arrive yesterday, but they called to explain that one of their customers, who was supposed to deliver a car to them, wasn’t home, so they ended up waiting for him for several hours, which threw off their entire delivery schedule
Has anyone else experienced delays with them? Trying not to overthink it but you know how it is when you've already paid.

Mike, I wouldn't worry too much as something similar happened to me when I bought a Jaguar XE through them last year. Mine turned up a couple of days later than expected as well.

Well, my solicitor did mention one positive thing, with all the banking regulations nowadays, fraud victims have far more protection than they used to now banks will have to play nice and refund fraud victims up to £85000 starting from October 2024.
That's comforting to know, but I'd much rather avoid finding out how those protections work firsthand! I'd prefer my money ended up buying a vehicle rather than funding a lesson in fraud prevention.

I still struggle with the idea of transferring thousands of pounds for a vehicle I haven't physically seen

Jimmy looks like you were spot on the BMW arrived this morning, the driver rang me about 25 minutes before arriving and everything went smoothly.
Appreciate the reassurance.

Hi everyone. My experience was mostly positive but not absolutely perfect I purchased a Kadjar from Zolee Logistics last month. Mechanically the vehicle has been excellent however the only issue was that there were a couple more stone chips and small cosmetic marks than I expected from the photos
To be fair when I raised the issue they apologised and offered a goodwill contribution of £420 towards correcting the paintwork. Not flawless but at least they dealt with the situation rather than ignoring it
