I am in the process of substituting the pads and rotors, and I have successfully navigated around the vehicle until reaching the rear driver side, where I am halted by a rusted placement screw that has lost its teeth, rendering it impossible to grip.

Strike the disc forcefully with a lump hammer from the rear; this action will sever the head of the retaining screw, leaving a protruding nub for removal attempts.

Simply drive a sharp 8mm drill through the center until the head detaches, then use pliers to unscrew the remaining portion after removing the disc.

Initially, I would attempt a punch and endeavour to manoeuvre it, as I have successfully eliminated them in that manner on several occasions. You may also insert a torx bit with a hammer and attempt it in that manner, although it could be excessively tight for such an approach.

Bore directly down the center, or, if utilising a dremel, create a squared edge until a marginally larger Torx or hex can engage securely.

The drill is the more straightforward choice, however.

Conduct a drill for me each time.
