Greetings,
I possess two keys, one conventional and one keyless entry.

The keyless entry functions properly, facilitating opening, locking, all ignition stages, and engine initiation via the gearshift-mounted button.

Nevertheless, when I insert either key into the ignition, I encounter the identical issue with both. Initially, the dashboard illuminates a few indicators, with the SRS being one that I recall; switching to the second position yields no results, nor does turning to the crank position. While I can rotate through all positions, there is no dashboard activity or engine start, and no notification such as "key not detected" is displayed.

As I mentioned, this applies to both keys, although the keyless go variant functions flawlessly.

Fresh and authenticated battery in the fob, with consumer battery voltage measuring 12.5V.

If the key fob battery is providing 12.5 volts, that could be the issue. I would refrain from placing it in your pocket.

That could pose a problem.... The depleted battery measures 12.5V.

For those who may be curious, the issue has been resolved; it was a mechanical malfunction. I applied high-quality contact cleaner inside the EIS through the keyhole, and it is now functioning at 199%.

I appreciate it! There is always an individual who is intrigued.

We seldom venture outside during this season.
