Looking at these brakes, what are your thoughts on them?

Your thoughts on the appearance of these brake rotors and pads are greatly appreciated. It seems like the car could use a rear brake job. I appreciate it.

Rotors that are clearly worn; the lip or depression around their edges is visible. The next problem is the abundance of trees. Rotors and pads need replacing. Right now, there are a lot of expensive, well-known brands on the market, and the rears are tiny and even cheaper. Wishing you the best of luck with that 5th generation game.

I am crossing my fingers that the rotors and pads will be replaced since I recently purchased this vehicle from a Lexus dealership last Friday, 9/4/2026. Even though I went there on Wednesday to have my registration transferred and my sticker issued, neither of those things have happened yet. My salesperson is planning to direct me to the service department immediately after I call the dealership. They probably didn't notice this when they were getting the car ready to sell it.
Much obliged for the response.

Can you feel the grooves with your fingernails?

At 10:00 this morning, I have an appointment with Mavis Tyre and Brake to have the rear brakes checked and a report written up so I can take it to the dealership. Yes, I can feel the grooves with my fingernails.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

It seems like the rotors could use a little adjusting.

Indeed, I will enquire with Mavis Tire and Brake this morning about the possibility of having the rotors and pads replaced by the dealer tomorrow. I was not impressed by the appearance of these brakes and rotors. Before returning to the dealership tomorrow, it was recommended above to have a shop inspect the brakes. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
