hi guys just a quick tip on something i foun on my evoque that does not seem to have been mentioned on the forum before i have had problems with my airbag warning for a while but just kept resetting using my icarsoft lr2 however this weekend after the car put me through the regen panic i noticed that the airbag warning was on so cleared it next time i got in the car it was back on so i thought i would have a look under the seat very hard on the 2 door coupe so got my torch and had a look i found a short black wire with a black plastic female spade but could not find any other wire to connect it to so had a closer look and read up on a ground lead and that is what it was it connects to the seatbelt mount by a spade connector very flimsy and easely knocked off when moving seat or cleaning under seats on reading it says that the same ground can also effect you power seats the heated seats and other things like seatbelt sensor and can also throw up the srs warning light i have since cleaned connection spade and connected lead back on the seatbelt mount checked car all now ok checked seats and heating all ok plus no srs so if you get any of these problems check that wire guys 

The warning about this possible issue and the simple (relatively speaking) solution are greatly appreciated.

I would have been curious to know the dealer's price for fixing that .

You would have likely been charged by the dealer to replace the airbag. This happened to me before, in a different Land Rover, but in the same general area. I saved a tonne of money by not letting the dealer replace the airbag after I discovered a similar tip to yours on another forum. Note that before tinkering with the airbag connections, turn off the ignition.
