On Friday, while operating my C200 Bluetec, the vehicle unexpectedly displayed the ominous engine warning light, subsequently losing all power and threatening to stall; I proceeded home, parked and utilised an inexpensive OBD reader, which revealed the following error codes: P229E, P22A6, P229E, P0201, P22A6, P2002. Luckily my partners dad owns a car garage and got it in straight away on the afternoon. We successfully resolved the issue (predominantly related to DPF) and eliminated all errors except for one. The vehicle continues to misfire and displays fault P0201, indicating an injector circuit malfunction in cylinder 1. We removed the injector for a brief inspection and found it satisfactory, then replaced it with injector 4, yet the P0201 error persists. In my unprofessional assessment, the issue appears to be a wiring malfunction, as evidenced by the erratic emergence of various codes; however, a companion believes it may pertain to a cylinder defect. Could someone provide their perspective on this matter as it is driving me to distraction?

Everything is organised in case anyone encounters an issue in the future; it appears there was a wiring defect above the injector!
