Greetings, all!

My 1988 W124 is currently undergoing an engine swap. I swapped out the manual gearbox for a 3.2L M104 petrol engine that came out of a 1997 S-Class. Using this wiring diagram, I installed the engine along with its electronic control unit (ECU), the original wiring harness (which connected the engine harness to the ME2.0 ECU's connectors E and F), and I also integrated the DAS, the luggage compartment, and the key:
An explanation of the pin's function: A2 receives 12V after ignition (KL15). Vehicle ignition relay for powering the ECU
B4 + 12V battery (KL30) Power source that is always on (fuse)
Grounding the ECU (A3, A7, A8)
Input signal for the C40 starter
It is necessary to have power in order to start the D14 Park/Neutral automatic gearbox validation.
From the ECU, the C29 Fuel Pump Relay controls the fuel pump through a relay.
The following components make up the electronic control unit: the F6 coils for cylinders 3/4, the F13 coils for cylinders 2 and 5, the F20 coils for cylinders 1 and 6, and the following signals: E1, E2, E13, E14, E12n5je, E12e6urs. The injectors are grounded by the common +12V supply.
Relay for the E37/E38 Crankshaft Position (CKP)
A signal for the E39/E40 camshaft position sensor
Flow meter model E47 MAF
The intake air temperature (IAT) is E45, and the coolant temperature (CLT) is E29.
Electronic Throttle Control (ETB) for F1/F2 Engines
Throttle Position Sensors (TPS) Models E31, E32, E33, and E34
Signal from the Oxygen Sensor and Ground for the D7/D8 O2 Bank
O2 Bank B's C31/C32 Oxygen Sensor Signal and Ground
Fuel Cell for Lambda Detectors A5/B1

By the way, I was also successful in making the OBD port, which lets me read error codes. I swapped out the 60-2 automatic flywheel for a manual one. However, the engine still won't start. Error code P0341 is what I'm seeing.

Several threads brought up a grounding issue after I looked everywhere. The issue still exists, even after I redid all the ground connections. My goal in writing this post is to solicit assistance. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this problem?

Thank you ahead of time.

I thought the W210 had a pretty good security system. It's unclear whether the ignition switch and module were removed.

I have taken the W140's antenna (bag) off its mounts near the ignition switch, as well as its chip and DAS module, which are located behind the dashboard. I appreciate your response. I was able to access and read engine error codes like P0431 after initially having a "FAULT DAS" message disappear after I located the exact DAS diagram.

That concludes my input; I am of the opinion that a standalone ECU may be necessary. Some individuals are experts with SDSs and might be able to assist with coding, but it's still a bit of a mystery. I hope you succeed; once you start the conversion, it sounds like a lot of fun.

This code seems to be related to the camshaft sensor; it's possible that the problem lies there or with the flywheel you installed. The flywheel you used was which one?
