Agree with @MBcarOWNER here, I was looking through their website after spotting one of the adverts. Looked decent enough and pro but that doesn't really tell you much does it. It's the distance that would put me off more than anything

Anyone know much about Killeavy Transport over in Belfast?

Been hunting around for a small SUV for my other half's birthday and found a 2020 Audi Q3 on Gumtree being sold by a company called Killeavy Transport over in Belfast. Price is a bargain which obviously caught my attention
They say there is a 14 day inspection period and money back option once the car arrives but I'm still not completely sure about buying something I've never actually seen
Anybody here bought from them or know anything about Killeavy Transport?

Hi Brown

I bought a 2019 Peugeot 3008 from them a few months back my first repo car I'd ever bought so I was a bit unsure myself. What made me consider it was the 14 day return arrangement and the fact they said the payment went into a separate holding account rather than straight into their normal business account

Rgds

Cheers mate appreciate that
How did you actually pay them then? Was it bank transfer only or could you use a card?

bank transfer was the only option they gave me they explained it was going into that separate company account I mentioned. I actually spoke to my solicitor before doing anything because I wasn't too comfortable sending that sort of money

Morning lads
My cousin drives lorries for Killeavy Transport been there nearly 2 years now doing freight jobs between Belfast and places like Bristol and Glasgow. So the transport side of the business is certainly real within the story
couldn't tell you much about the repossessed cars though as that's not what he deals with

I'd still be careful if I were you paying for a car before it's even been delivered doesn't sit right with me personally seen far too many people get caught out doing exactly that

If they've got the vehicle at their premises then surely you should be able to arrange a viewing. I'd rather spend a bit travelling than risk losing thousands

Well I'll throw my experience into the mix bought a VW Passat estate from Killeavy Transport back in May, spoke to a bloke called Daniel who went through the whole process with me. No complicated explanations or anything like that he sent over pictures of the logbook and an HPI report before I made the payment which was useful, had no complaints with the Passat myself and would have considered using them again

Out of curiosity has anyone actually been to their yard in Belfast? Not trying to put anyone off but there's a difference between a company doing haulage and selling repossessed cars

Anyone else had problems with delivery times? Getting a bit worried here
Bought an Audi A3 from Killeavy Transport last week and it was meant to arrive yesterday. Had a phone call saying they've had to push delivery back another 48 hours because of their transport schedule
Probably overthinking it but when you've already paid for something and it doesn't arrive on the day they said you do start wondering
