Beeping sound following lock-in

Good day.
I can't figure out why my Kadjar (16-plate) keeps beeping even after I go to lock it.
It's completely new to this.
Due to a holiday, it remained upright for a week.
Your time in reading this is greatly appreciated.

Typically an indication that something isn't quite right—maybe it's not even locking—have you double-checked?
Have a look at the top, bottom, and all of the doors; does the dashboard display indicate that anything is open?

No indication that any doors are open.
I can't open the car door.

It was the driver's door switch on my Kadjar. To silence the beep, I ultimately glued a wheel valve cap onto the top.

I used a valve cap on top to make sure the switch was made, and mine was the same.
