Are preloaded maps on USB sticks readily accessible?

I have just completed the sale of my 2015 model year F11 535D, and as of yesterday, I have acquired a 2012 F10 530D.
As well recognized, the most recent automobile models were equipped with an advanced I-Drive system, enabling users to conveniently install maps using the BMW Connected Drive platform.

Yesterday, I discovered the notable disparity in performance between the older CIC I-Drive and its contemporary counterparts.
The absence of DAB radio functionality and uncertainty around the possibility of software updates are noted.
However, it seems that I am now unable to establish a connection between the BMW App and the vehicle.
The vehicle identification number (VIN) has been successfully detected, prompting the user to input a passcode. This passcode has been sent to the user via a notification on the I-Drive system. Is there any documentation available on the I-Drive that pertains to the term "MESSAGE"?
The aforementioned issue hinders my future advancement, in addition to the program experiencing frequent crashes shortly after accessing the passcode screen.

I am now unable to update the maps, as shown by the system information, which reveals that the maps have not been updated since the vehicle's first release in 2012.

Given my current limitations, is I permitted to get a USB storage device that comes preloaded with BMW's pre-installed maps?

If no alternative exists, I will resort to use Google Maps on my mobile device.

Thank you for any guidance you are able to provide.

The user inquires about the process of updating the navigation maps in BMW vehicles using Google services. In Glasgow, there exists an individual who offers a service whereby they provide a connection for users to download maps onto a USB drive, enabling them to independently install those maps. Additionally, this individual also provides the necessary code to facilitate map updates. The website satnavupgrades.co.uk offers an update for the 2023 BMW Premium Move Motion satellite navigation system.

One of the tasks on my agenda is the installation of carplay/android auto functionality into my 2012 F11 vehicle. By using Google Maps, users may benefit from its superior functionality compared to pre-installed navigation systems.

I own a Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) device, which enables the use of applications such as BBC Sounds via a mobile phone.

This communication serves as an update.
I initiated communication with Rusty and remunerated him for the recent updates, which he subsequently sent to me through electronic mail.
It was not until a few days later that I came to the realization that all the information I did not need was included inside the email.
Due to my limited familiarity with various software terminology and programs, I had difficulty comprehending the task at hand.
I contacted Rusty with the intention of seeking guidance on the process of downloading onto a USB stick.
However, once recognizing my use of a MAC, he said that the procedure would be extra intricate to execute.
In exchange for an extra £10, he offered to transfer the whole file onto a fresh USB stick, which proved to be an ideal solution.

Additionally, I acquired knowledge from Rusty that my 2012 model 5 Series vehicle is equipped with two Universal Serial Bus (USB) connections.
Upon encountering difficulties in installing the maps using the USB Portal located in the center console, Rusty informed me about the existence of a second installation option located in the glovebox.

Does this update alter the visual representation of the map, or is it just focused on updating the mapping data to include newly constructed roads?

Moreover, while my 2012 edition has seven-digit postcodes, my residential area is not included inside it, despite the fact that the hamlet has been since ancient times. I am curious as to whether an update will resolve this issue.
