In late August, a deposit was made for the purchase of a 2024 CX-5 Signature. The dealer subsequently informed us that they had sent the money to Mazda.

Does anybody possess knowledge on the average duration for order retrieval and/or the expected timeframe for construction completion? There are no other choices available except from the Soul Red color option.

The dealer provided a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). I reached out to Mazda and was informed that the vehicle is anticipated to arrive at the port in November. However, no specific timeline was provided about its subsequent delivery to the dealership.

The dealer has the capability to provide you with updates. Additionally, they have the capability to provide information on the commencement of manufacturing, the shipment status, and the anticipated arrival time.
Typically, the duration from port release and arrival at the dealer ranges from one to two weeks, with a timeframe of less than one month.
There was a method to precisely trace the specific vessel in question, however I am unable to recollect the details of that method. It is advisable to inquire with the dealer, since they possess a vested interest in expediting the sale. Alternatively, one may consider purchasing an alternative pre-existing vehicle from a distinct dealer.

Initially, we made a purchase of a vehicle from the 2024 model year, afterwards followed by the emergence of a vehicle from the 2023 model year. The vehicle is now located inside the Mazda parking lot situated in Mexico. This occurred in the month of July. According to the provided information, it is said that the delivery is expected to occur within the first week of October. If a someone has placed an order for a 2024 model, it is quite improbable that they will get it before to the conclusion of the current year.

On August 23rd, I placed an order for a 2024 CX-5 Sport Design, which is one trim level below the Signature variant. The estimated time of arrival (ETA) provided by the dealership indicates that the vehicle is expected to be delivered to the dealership on October 4th. According to reports, Mazda has shown a proclivity for expeditiously delivering its top-tier models.

My vehicle is a GT model, the only feature it lacks is a turbocharger. It is advisable to ascertain the existence or construction status of the subject in question.

The vehicle that you have requested is the CX-30, as opposed to the CX-5. The CX-30 models intended for the North American market are manufactured at the production facility located in Mexico, whilst the CX-5 models designated for the North American market will be produced in Japan.

The most advisable course of action would be to establish communication with the dealer and inquire about the possibility of receiving frequent SMS updates about the whereabouts of your vehicle.

I possess knowledge on the subject matter.

I contend that if the current delay in obtaining an automobile, which is already manufactured and located within the same continent, and is only awaiting transportation from a parking facility, is of such prolonged duration, it would be unwise to maintain high expectations about the timely acquisition of a vehicle that potentially necessitates assembly and subsequent delivery over an oceanic expanse. We are approaching the month of October.

If one wants to provide misleading optimism, then it is one's prerogative to do so.

The argument I was making is that the experiences might vary depending on the origin of the automobile, and it seems that this is really the situation. The speed may not necessarily be faster or slower, but rather exhibits variation. I am uncertain as to the reasons for the prolonged duration in acquiring your CX-30. It is possible that this delay might be attributed to factors such as regional variations, such as those specific to Mexico, or even due to inefficiencies within the dealership's operations. It is important to acknowledge that individual experiences may vary in this regard.

As an illustrative example, the purchase of my 2018 CX-9, which was manufactured in Japan, occurred on December 22nd, 2017. The delivery was received on January 5th, 2018, precisely two weeks subsequent to the first transaction. Upon placing my order for the vehicle, I was informed that it had been allocated and was now in transit on a ship on route to the dealership. The aforementioned account reflects my own experience, which I acknowledge may vary from the experiences of other purchasers. Hence, I proposed the notion of reaching out to the dealer in order to get firsthand updates, metaphorically speaking.
